Imagine a home that is so intelligent, that it practically entertains you. Lights, media, sound, safety, and more. What can smart technology do for your holiday plans? Let us count the ways.
Take a look at a holiday story inside an endlessly fantastic North Bay Road estate.
I’ve always enjoyed entertaining. Now, I absolutely love it. Not only do our smart features make holiday entertaining easy, but we’ve also become the go-to house for holiday parties.
The smart home control system manages everything. It is like having a personal assistant. And multitasking has never been so easy. I can check the smart doorbell cam from anywhere. Packages arrive constantly during the holidays. And I get an alert when someone approaches the door or leaves a box, which significantly reduces my anxiety over special gifts getting snatched.
Preparing for a gathering during the holidays is now effortless. If I’m out shopping and I need to start the oven, turn on the tree, light the fire, and let the caterers in, I can do so in just a few taps of a control app on my phone.
When I return home, I cruise through the doors and go straight to my bedroom to get ready. Everything is already done. And if I’m lucky, one of the caterers hands me a glass of wine on the way. When my husband arrives home, I’m calm and stress-free, and we get to enjoy a moment together before the party starts.
Our automated system also gives us the ability to let guests enter the property with quick ease. When cars arrive at the gate, we push a button on our phones to let them in. We can relax and mingle with our friends without interruption.
Preprogrammed scenes add excitement to the evening. Smart festive lights change from blue and silver to gold and red, ensuring an all-inclusive glow. No matter what a guest celebrates during the holiday season, be it Yule, Hanukkah, Christmas, or Festivus, they feel comfortable and jovial.
Musical ambiance is a breeze as well. If we want a different mood for a Champagne and cocktail hour, service of the main course, and after dinner aperitif, it’s done with easy voice commands. If we want a holiday-themed movie to play in the background on one of the tv’s, all we have to do is say a few words, and it is done. Sound, sights, and lights, without lifting a finger.
No matter how great the party, it always feels good to say goodbye to the last guest. That means it is time to steal a few final moments of the evening by the fire, with lights twinkling and soft music crooning. Eventually, we speak the last commands of the night sending our smart home into sleep mode. The temperature lowers to save energy, lights go off, all the doors lock, and the security system arms. And at the last minute…
“Alexa, start the Roomba.”
